treasures
Hello.Thought you might like to see some vintage treasures I bought recently from an antique fair. This lovely album of 'bird' cigarette cards...
and I got another card album of wild flower pictures. I love poking round antique fairs and flea markets, it's my favourite kind of shopping, you can get a lot of pleasure from spending a few pounds..
..also bought a bunch of old photographs that will be finding their way onto my cards and artwork.They are so evocative aren't they... I think the one below is my favourite.
The photos are so very intriguing...beautiful. I was reading just recently about a guy who bought an old-style cine camera and now does all his filming of his family on it - and then they put music to it. Like the old days. Wish I'd been with you at the antique fair...miss you. x

I always find old photographs sad when the names and histories of the people have been lost.
I'm glad they have found you so you can at least make them into tresured objects.
